Below you will find the name of the Reading Street stories we will read plus our weekly spelling and vocabulary words

Each Reading Street Unit is composed of 5 stories.

Spelling Words

Each week the students are given their spelling words.  Typically these words are associated with our weekly story and the first 12 words follow the specific spelling rule we are using.  The remaining words are a combination of high frequency and vocabulary words that students should be able to read and spell correctly.

Each at the beginning of each week the students will also be introduced to several high frequency/vocabulary words. The words are used throughout the week and in a variety of activities.  The students are expected to use these words appropriately both orally and in sentences.
